Brendan graduated from Seton Hall University with a M.A. in Professional Counseling and has been working in community mental health settings serving adolescents, adults, and family's with mental health and substance use challenges. Brendan also has done intensive in-home therapy for adolescents and their families. Prior to his work as a Licensed therapist Brendan spent 10 years as a Franciscan monk living a contemplative life in community and serving the underprivileged through soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and youth centers. Brendan was also a world ranked swimmer, having competed in the Olympic Trials and was the team captain for Rutgers University. Brendan views his work as a therapist as a calling and incorporates his life experiences and professional training to accompany those seeking his services towards greater purpose and freedom to experience authenticity and deeper relationships.
